TagBrace advance guardrail system

Advantages

  • Cheaper than any advance guardrail system currently on the market

  • Robust components

  • Quicker to assemble and dismantle the tower than using current advance guardrails or the 3T method

  • Significantly safer than the 3T method

  • Simpler to use and understand

  • 2 fitting components plus 4 temporary guardrails

Because the user fits the guardrails from the inside of the tower, the platform to be fitted above cannot be put in place before the guardrails are positioned ahead of the user. This unique feature of the design means that the user cannot stand, through misuse or lack of understanding, on an unguarded platform.

Another of the unique aspects of the TagBrace system is the method which permits the user to position the advance guardrail from inside the tower, eliminating the need to lean out of the tower to reach up or reach down

This system allows the access tower manufacturer to decide on the assembly method as opposed to the system dictating the assembly.

On assembly the guardrails fitted are the original manufacturers and are put in place using the TagBrace Elevator, this system cuts down assembly time in comparison with the other two approved systems.

Only on dismantling the tower is a specific guardrail brace fitted briefly. However the original manufacturers brace can be used if the brace lock mechanism is removed and a conversion (bolt on) lock mechanism is fitted, this can reduce the cost of the system.

The TagBrace or (bolt on) lock mechanism allows the guardrail to be disengaged safely (as the guardrails are out of normal reach) from below, this maintains the safety of the user whilst dismantling the tower.
